Bayern Munich has withdrawn from the race to sign Matthijs de Ligt after the German Club steps out of the race for his signature.
Bayern Munich which was initially impressed over the positive talks has made it clear that more pressing priorities in the transfer market had made them pull out a bid over him.
The more pressing priorities are the need to sign a winger. Bayern Munich had already spent €115 million for the purchase of French defenders and 2018 World Champions Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez. Their next important purchase will probably be signing an attacker.
The transfer of Leroy Sane appears to be difficult because of the hefty sum of money involved in the deal. Bayern may sign Callum Hudson-Odoi who appears to be a strong contender in the race.
