Chelsea is all set to move Ola Aina to Torino due to a deal clause into their contract of his loan deal. Torino President Cairo says they have exercised their option to buy Ola Aina, Ansaldi, and Djidji. They now own their players. Aina’s switch to Italy will be permanent.
The 22-year-old had played over 30 times in Serie A for the Turin outfit and over the time the player had provided one goal and three assists.
There has been an option to sign Aina permanently for £8.7 million last year, but because of the possibility of a transfer ban, Chelsea had the second thought of selling their player.
This year, Blues are in the process of closely monitoring their loan players to identify the right fit for the squad role next season. Ola Aina is one amongst those youngsters who had been considered for the move.
Ola Aina had signed a 4-year contract at Stamford Bridge before his move to Italy.
